Identity validation
BVN and NIN checks via configured provider (EaseID / Monnify).
Validate BVN · Validate NIN
Step 1 — Obtain your API token
Go to Dashboard → API access → enter your 5-digit transaction PIN → View token. Keep this secret. Reset it from the same page if compromised.
Step 2 — Required headers on every call
Send `Authorization: Token <your_token>` on all endpoints. For POST requests also send `Content-Type: application/json`.
Step 3 — Whitelist your server IP
Open Dashboard → Pricing and add the public IP of the server that calls this API. Once at least one IP is saved, every Token request from any other address is rejected with HTTP 403. Leave the list empty to allow all IPs. The website and mobile app are not affected.
Step 4 — Validate before you buy
Use Validate IUC / Validate Meter before cable or electricity. Use Validate BVN / Validate NIN for identity checks (provider is set in admin web config: EaseID or Monnify — no date of birth required).
Step 5 — Query transaction status
After purchase, query by transaction ID or `ident` reference using the Query endpoints below.
